A successful bathroom renovation is about more than replacing old fixtures. It is about creating a space that looks intentional, functions better and feels like it belongs in the home. Capital Construction recently completed a bathroom renovation in Lakeland, Tennessee, transforming an outdated bathroom with custom woodwork, new cabinetry and coordinated quartz surfaces.

From Demolition to a Completely New Bathroom

The project began with removing the existing vanities, countertops, tub deck, tub and surrounding framing. Once the old materials were removed, the Capital Construction team built a new frame for the tub, providing a solid foundation for the updated design.

The homeowners selected beautiful oak vanities as the centerpiece of the new bathroom. Rather than simply installing off-the-shelf components, Capital Construction took the renovation a step further with custom-built details designed specifically for the space.

Custom Oak Details Make the Difference

One of the highlights of this Lakeland, TN bathroom remodeling project was the custom oak work.

Capital Construction built a custom oak tub skirt to coordinate with the new oak vanities. An oak frame was also custom-built around the mirror, creating a cohesive look throughout the bathroom.

These details helped tie the cabinetry, tub area and mirror together, giving the renovated bathroom a finished, custom-designed appearance.

Quartz Countertops, Tub Deck and Splash

New countertops were installed as part of the renovation, using a quartz material selected for the bathroom.

To create a consistent design, the same quartz material was also used for the tub deck and backsplash/splash area. Using the quartz throughout these areas gives the bathroom a clean, coordinated appearance while adding durability to surfaces that see regular use.
